We do different types of walkways but in essence they are all very similar. They are wetpour rubber flooring with a coloured seal over the top. We can colour the floor to almost any colour.
The coloured seal is what is says it is: a seal to stop urine or water getting through to the rubber underlay.
Balancing horse strength flooring vs grip can be quite demanding.
As with stable wet pour flooring, water problems sometimes seep up (excuse the pun). We have encountered a few instances where we have sealed a concrete floor only to find that there is a pre-existing water condition. So water and moisture are our mortal enemies and we SHOULD NOT install if there is any moisture present. Often we don’t know and the customer doesn’t know either. But moisture manifests itsself and we can now see its effects, however the floor has been laid and its becomes a management issue.
It really becomes a headache when the installation is 600 km’s away.
